We are ACTION! Magazine, a platform built by filmmakers for filmmakers.
Our mission is to give a voice to emerging creatives and spotlight the stories, perspectives, and processes that often go unseen. We believe that the next generation of filmmakers deserves thoughtful, intentional coverage that goes beyond surface-level promotion.
What makes us different is simple: our team is made up entirely of filmmakers. We approach every interview, feature, and conversation from a place of firsthand experience, not traditional journalism. We understand the challenges, the risks, and the creative decisions behind every project because we live them too.
This allows us to create deeper, more honest conversations that center the artist, not just the outcome.

Victoria Arruda is an award-winning filmmaker, documentarian, and the founder of ACTION! Magazine. She holds a degree in Film and Television Production from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Her work spans films, documentaries, music videos, acting, and theater, giving her a well-rounded understanding of storytelling both in front of and behind the camera. Having lived in multiple countries and speaking English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish, her global perspective deeply informs her creative and editorial voice. In addition to filmmaking, she is also a writer with a strong passion for business, bringing both creative and strategic vision to everything she builds.
